Although I consider it an honor to go up and greet the Marines and welcome them to the Big Island with soft drinks, water, and snacks,
I was also able to photograph the promotional ceremony to Corporal for a Marine while I was there.  What a great way to
celebrate a 4th of July weekend.

The Marines were very surprised that I was there - and very appreciative of all of the soft drinks and water and chips I brought while they
enjoyed a little R & R.
